<p>It is known to use centrifugal purifiers in the treatment of waste paper for fine purification purposes; these have a stock inlet in their upper part and a purifier body of slender conical shape, which, towards its outlet end for rejects, tapers in its lower part like a nozzle relatively sharply to a point. These purifiers are inserted in one or more stages. According to the invention, in the treatment of waste paper, especially of coated papers or waste, printed with glossy ink, from the production of cardboard, folding boxes and playing cards, before the flotation and after the dissolution of the waste paper, combined with at least partial detachment of the printing inks in a stock dissolver, this centrifugal purifier is inserted into the treatment process directly after the stock dissolver, but at least before the flotation. As a result, substantially purer stock is obtained in a simple manner in a given application.</p> |
