What is described is a transfer-printing device, by which a convex surface of an article can be printed. For this, a shaft which can be rotated through identical angles of rotation is provided in the transfer-printing device. Fastened to the shaft is a holding block, on which a plurality of pressure pads are provided in turn on its circumference. The pressure pads are brought successively into a transfer-printing position. At the same time, they are heated in a heating mandrel, so that the surface of the respective pressure pad assumes the temperature necessary for the transfer printing. During the transfer printing, the respective pressure pad is sufficiently deformed elastically, without warping or creases forming thereby. Very good transfer printing onto the convex surface of the respective article is consequently achieved in a simple way, a transfer-printing film being used.
