The invention relates to a temperature sensor which can be screwed into the filling opening (2) of accumulators and has a base part (1) which can be screwed into the filling opening (2) and through which a piece of tubing (6) projects into the accumulator, which piece of tubing is sealed at the inserted end and in which a temperature-sensitive element is arranged, from which connecting leads (8) pass to the exterior through the piece of tubing (6), and has a vent channel (16) which leads from the interior (14) of the accumulator to the outside and in which elements are arranged which prevent fluid (7) emerging. In order as far as possible to prevent fluid emerging from the accumulator, the emergence of gases being intended to be possible, however, a non-return valve (26) is arranged in the venting channel (16), which non-return valve (26) can be opened in the direction from the interior (14) of the accumulator to the outside. <IMAGE>
