The invention relates to a seed-coulter arrangement for seed drills or the like. The seed coulters of seed drills or such like appliances serve, during the sowing work, for digging in the ground furrows into which seeds are introduced via the seed coulters. The seed coulters are fastened to lever arms which are movable up and down and which are sprung individually and can be prestressed jointly via an adjusting device. As a result, the seed coulters can be pressed more or less firmly against the ground in dependence on the ground state. Each lever arm has hitherto been loaded appropriately by means of a helical spring and suspended in an articulated manner. However, this construction has only relatively short service times. The invention proposes that each lever arm (14) carrying a seed coulter (16) be arranged, via a torsion-spring element (21) made of elastomeric material, on a carrier shaft (12) for joint rotation with the latter, and that the carrier shaft be rotatable by means of an adjusting device for the selective fixing of the prestressing force with which the seed coulters are pressed against the ground. The principal sector of use of the invention is seed drills or such like seeding machines. <IMAGE>
