PURPOSE:To manufacture a thermistor simple and inexpensive and make insulation between lead wires sufficient by fixing a thermistor element at the end of a ceramic pipe by means of a glass sealing body. CONSTITUTION:The basic constructions of bead type, pellet type and diode type thermistors are shown in the figures. In the figures, thermistor elements 101, 106 and 110, platinum lead wire 102, lead wires 103, 108, 111, glass sealing bodies 104, 109, and 112, ceramic pipes 105 and 102, each of which has two holes, and a ceramic pipe are shown. Ceramic pipes 105, 107, and 113 have an expansion coefficient that is almost the same as that of the thermistor elements, and the expansion coefficients of the lead wires 103, 108, and 111 and of the glass sealing bodies 104, 109, and 112 are made almost the same as that of the thermistor elements 101, 106, and 110. With this arrangement the thermistor elements are fixed on the glass sealing body when they are sealed. |
