On a fodder-distributing truck having a cross-conveyor band arranged underneath cutting rollers, a mixing and distributing roller is mounted on the discharge side of the cross-conveyor band. The fodder fed to a mixing and distributing roller is deposited in the fodder aisle immediately after the mixing operation. After removal of a cover on the mixing and distributing roller, the fodder truck can be used as a spreading vehicle with lateral spreading, since material supplied is thrown off laterally sufficiently uniformly by the mixing and distributing roller over several metres. <IMAGE>
