PURPOSE:To enable a rider to easily move in relaxed posture back and forth between the front seat and rear room of a vehicle having its cab over the engine, by providing a moving slide unit between the driver's seat and assistant driver's seat of the front room. CONSTITUTION:A moving slide unit 21, which is provided at the front seat of a vehicle having its cab over the engine, comprises a slide plate 23 and base plate 22 corresponding to the cover of the engine. The base plate 22 has a step part 31 including four recesses 31a and foot rests 32. The slide plate 23 has a lockup unit 39 and upper rails 38 which are engaged with lower rails 27 on both the sides of the base plate 22. Cloth covers 45, 46 for guiding the movement of a rider between the front and rear seats of the vehicle extend from the inclined part 42 of the slide plate 23. When th rider is to move from the rear room to the front seat, the slide plate 23 is displaced backward and the lower body of the rider is put thereon and the plate is then displaced forward together with the rider by his or her arm's force. |
