<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize a camera body during photography by lowering its center of gravity while utilizing a dead space effectively, by forming a battery storage chamber in a guide bar. CONSTITUTION:In a guide bar fitted and fixed in the engagement hole 12 of the base 4 of a camera body 3, a storage chamber 15 for storing a battery case 14 is formed. At the rear end part of the engagement hole 12, a coil spring 17 for energizing the battery case toward the tip and serving as a terminal is supported by an insulating plate 18. The tip opening 21 of the guide bar is covered with a conductive screw cap 23 for manual operation provided with a conductive plate 22 at the internal bottom. For replacing a battery 13, the screw cap 23 is removed and after the battery case is taken out, a conductive cap 34 for manual operation is removed and the battery is replaced.</p> |
