PURPOSE:To generate 2 musical scale codes of a fundamental tone and a 5 degree tone from one data by simple constitution, by constituting plural binary adders of 2 inputs, and feeding back a carry output of the highest rank adder to the lower adder. CONSTITUTION:Plural binary adders 20-23 for receiving N pieces fundamental sound code inputs 7-10 are provided, and the number of codes made by these adders 20-23 is made to have relation of L>N. Also, the adders 20-23 are constituted of 2 inputs or 3 inputs. Subsequently, the code converter is constituted of the adders 20-23 and an inverter 31, a carry output CO of each adder 20- 23 is connected a higher rank carry input CI, and a carry output CO of the highest rank adder 23 is connected to an adding input AI of the adder 22. Also, a control signal 5 is supplied to the adding input AI of the adder 23, also is inverted by the inverter 31, and is applied to the adding input AI of the adder 20. Also, the code inputs 7-10 are provided to an augend input -AI of the adder 20-23, and final outputs 16-19 of the converter are outputted to an adding output AO. |
