摘要 PURPOSE:To make the quantity of application constant in electrostatic application of rust preventive lubricating oil by adjusting an input voltage so as to make the output voltage of a DC high voltage generating device for a discharge wire lower than a normal value at the time of low speed in the initial stage of coiling. CONSTITUTION:The rust preventive lubricating oil is sprayed from a spray nozzle 2 to an atomizing chamber 3 and further atomized by by a demistor 4 and permeates an electrodeposition chamber 5. On the other hand, a negative high voltage from a DC high voltage generating device 7 is applied to a discharge wire 6. A welding wire W is run through it and atomized rust preventive lubricating oil is adhered on the surface by electrostatic attraction. The signal of a speed detector 9 is fed to a ratio bias setting device 11 through a current converter 10 and regulates output voltage of a voltage regulator 12. For instance, when the speed of the wire W is 100-200m/min, the voltage is lowered, and when the speed is >=300m/min, the voltage is raised. By this way, the quantity of application at the time of low speed running can be made nearly equal to the quantity of application at the time of high speed running.
