PURPOSE:To simplify operating members of a constant speed running device, by adjusting the opening of a throttle valve in a carburetor through a pedal arm, connecting a cable to a control unit in the constant speed running device and engaging said cable to said pedal arm at an opposite side to an accelerator pedal. CONSTITUTION:In such a device that an accelerator pedal 1 is depressed to turn an arm 2 about a pivotal shaft 5, open a throttle valve through a cable 8 and increase a feed amount of fuel, a control cable 15, consisting of a push cable 15a connected with its one end to a control unit 14 in a constant running device, is extensibly provided through a dash lower panel 16, and its point end is engaged to a part of said arm 2 at an angle of almost 90 deg. at the opposite side to the pedal 1. Then said arm 2 ia maintained at a constant angle against a spring 17 to obtain a running condition at a constant speed by the cable 15 pushed out from the control unit by negative pressure from an intake manifold at operation of the constant speed running device. |
