PURPOSE:To wind the coil without making a gap between each conductor requiring no laborious work by a method wherein, in the device with which a flat type conductor is wound around, tension is applied to the flat type conductor and, at the same time, the conductor is wound around while tension is applied by a pushing rod through the intermediary of a ring-shaped thin metal material. CONSTITUTION:In the device with which the flat conductor 1 is wound around the spool 3 using the intemediary of an insulating sheet 2, the winding work is performed while tension is applied on the flat type conductor 1 using a tension applying device 4. Besides, the winding work is continued in such a manner that pressure is being applied on the surface of the outermost layer of the flat type conductor 1 using the pushing rod 6 having an almost fan-shaped point through the intermediary of a ring-shaped thin metal band 11. As a result, the winding work is performed without generating a gap between the flat type conductor 1, and even when lateral pressure is generated at the corner part of the coil, it is absorbed by the ring-shaped metal band 11, thereby enabling to perform the winding work smoothly. |
