PURPOSE:To replace a capital letter with a small letter without increasing so much memory capacity by a method wherein means for storing information regarding positions and distortion correction according to the character size is replaced according to the character size. CONSTITUTION:In reading of contents (charge cord and distortion correction) of the memory of a charge correction circuit 7, a capital letter is replaced with a small letter by a large/small character replacing signal LSC. By the dot information of a character generator 21, succeeding two drops and advancing five drops are added, subtracted according to the existence of advancing or succeeding drops to the quantity of correction corresponding to deflections. |
