The printer includes devices (1,2) for monitoring the sheet feed to the offset printing station (4), which are coupled to an emergency programme control, for effecting shut-down when incorrect feeding is detected. Pref. the emergency programme control is coupled to a washing device for a rubber printing roller (3) and to a device for returning the combined programme control for the duplicator (9) and the printer (12) to the start point. Pref. the emergency programme control is also coupled to a switch (5) allowing the machine to be re-started and with an access cover which is only released when the machine is brought to a stop. |
