PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a local strong pressing force and avoid generating streaks without precisely setting the contacting pressure of rollers by a method wherein the parts near ends of paper-feeding rollers are tapered by providing a gradient. CONSTITUTION:For example, both end parts of the paper-feeding rollers 5, 6 are tapered by gradually and uniformly decreasing the outside diameters of the rollers towards the ends from positions which are respectively spaced from the ends towards the middle by 1cm. Namely, in a cross section including the axial line, the angle included between the tapered surface an the side surface of the cyinder is made to be an obtuse angle. Accordingly, when a recording paper and an ink doner sheet in an overlapped condition are traveled between the rollers 5, 6, the paper and the sheet is not locally strongly pressed at any part, so that streaks are not generated. |
