PURPOSE:To maintain a ferrite with large electric power characteristic and to reduce its loss in a low electric power range by specifying the particle diameter of baked ferrite powder to 1-4.5mum when forming an Mn-Mg series spinel type microwave ferrite. CONSTITUTION:71% of Fe2O3, 8% of MnO and 22% of MgO are prepared by weight %, are filled in a ball mill, are mixed with water, and a slurry is prepared. Subsequently, this slurry is dried, is baked at 900 deg.C for 2 hours, and is pulverized in the ball mill or in a vibration mill to 1-4.5mum of particle diameter. Then, a binder of PVA is added to the powder, the mixture is then sufficiently stirred, and is pressed in a mold under the pressure of 1ton/cm<2>. Thereafter, this molded mixture is baked at 1,200 deg.C, is then polished, and is then associated in a circulator. Thus, a reversible part made of the ferrite for a large electric power microwave can be obtained. |
