<p>There is described a load handling device for moving a load across a floor of a vehicle loadbed. The apparatus comprises a track extending across the floor, and a follower movable by a drive means along the track. The follower includes means for releasably attaching the load thereto. The apparatus is particularly suited to the loading and unloading of wheeled stretchers into and out of ambulances.</p> |
