<p>An anti-theft device for vehicles has a divided steering shaft, the steering shaft parts of which can be coupled to one another in toothings by means of a displaceable sleeve. The sleeve is constructed at its outer circumference in the manner of a toothed rod and can be moved by means of a pinion which intermeshes with the toothing. The pinion is made to rotate by the ignition lock arrangement with the aid of the ignition key. The ignition lock and the shaft arrangement are mounted in a protective element consisting of one piece.</p> |
