<p>PURPOSE:To make recording on a magnetic disc without in vain recording, by assembling a plurality of magnetic head chips having a head gap with a prescribed azimuth angle to a different head sliter and operating it with a different actuator. CONSTITUTION:In a floating type azimuth recording magnetic head, a magnetic head chip 1' of a channel 1 having a head gap 2' in a ''positive'' azimuth angle (alpha) to a vertical line A-A' on a head chip plane is provided. Further, a magnetic head chip 3' of a channel 2 having a ''negative'' azimuth angle (beta) to the vertical line A-A' and the chip 1' are fitted to different actuators. On a magnetic disc, one is set on the inner circumference than the other by a track pitch Tp and they moves toward the center with a step 2Tp, then unrecorded tracks at the outermost and the innermost circumferences are not generated.</p> |
