The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for the contactless production of partial magnetic forces for vehicles, comprising an excitation element provided with a permanent magnet device which is used to generate a vertical permanent magnet field. Said excitation element is guided between an upper C-shaped ferromagnetic rail and a lower C-shaped ferromagnetic rail, and is transported along a track, whereby an excitation current is conducted by means of current windings which are placed around polar projections of the excitation element in order to produce an additional magnetic field. An upper air gap which is formed between the excitation element and the upper track is smaller than a lower air gap formed between the excitation element and the lower track. |
