<p>Metering and isolating device for a tubular discharge channel of a storage chamber of a shaft furnace comprising a cap-shaped clack 12 mounted on a pivot arm 14 and an actuating mechanism for opening and closing the clack 12. This actuating mechanism comprises a cam system so designed that the complete closing movement will consist of a transversal sliding movement of the clack 12, during which the latter remains at a distance from the seating, followed at the end of the stroke, by a longitudinal movement of the clack 12 in relation to the discharge channel 10, applying the clack 12 to the seating, while the opening of the clack 12 consists of the reverse movements.</p> |
