The invention concerns an arrangement for control of series-connected thyristors, which arrangement contains pulse transformers 1-6 in a number equal to the number of thyristors 7-12 being controlled and it has a common primary winding, which is configured as a loop, whose first branch 14 extends inside the magnetic circuits 15 of the pulse transformers 1-6, while its other branch 16 is arranged outside the magnetic circuits 15. Each of the secondary windings 17 in the pulse transformers is connected to the control junction in the respective thyristors 7-12. The arrangement also contains elements for preventing flow of capacitance currents across the control junctions in the thyristors 7-12, which elements comprise current-conducting screens 18-24, which enclose the first branch 14 that extends inside the magnetic circuits, over its entire length and are distributed with intervals between each along the length of the first branch 14. A minimum width for the gap between the screens is sufficient for electrical insulation of neighbouring screens 18-24. Each of the screens 18-24 has the potential of one of the poles 26 in a source 27 for rapidly increasing voltage, which source is electrically connected to the output lines from the first and the last thyristor 7, 12, respectively. <IMAGE> |
