PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent image with accurate color correction without degrading of reproducing image, by picking up a reproduction image signal processing data (e.g., color temperature data) from a recording medium recorded with image data and applying a suitabe compensation. CONSTITUTION:First, and ID number recorded at the beginning of a recording medium 10 is read at a reproduction circuit 51, and when a frame to be reproduced is determined, the color temperature of the frame and image data are read. The data are separated at a reproduction control section 52; the image data is inputted to a color image element separation circuit 53 and a color temperature data is inputted to a color temperature compensation control circuit 55. The input image data are separated into primary color signals of R, G and B and inputted to color temperature compensation circuits 54a-54c, where the data are controlled with a color temperature correction value calculated at the circuit 55 and become the primary color signals with good color balance. The data are once stored in a memory 56 and displayed on a CRT 58 via a display circuit 57. |
