PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for holding of dial pulse speed data for each subscriber telephone set, by providing a means counting a brake time of a dial pulse in an outgoing register and discriminating the dial pulse speed from an outgoing subscriber. CONSTITUTION:An outgoing telephone set TEL is connected to an outgoing register ORT via a switch network SW with the known method. A dial pulse from the TEL is applied to an inverter I1 via a signal level conversion circuit N. A counter circuit CT counts clocks for 8msec of a brake of the dial pulse and the result of count is inputted to terminals A0-A3 of a comparator COMP. To terminals B0-B3 of the COMP, a pulse number within a brake time which can distinguish the dial pulse speed in 10pps and 20pps is set, and the COMP compares the result of count with this set value to output a discriminating signal of the dial pulse speed. |
