PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to facilitate the assembling and the disassembling, by mounting a lubrication-free bearing member at the sliding section of the impeller bearing while applying the gas pressure in the impeller thereby preventing the intrusion of the water into the impeller seal section. CONSTITUTION:The lubrication-free liners 30, 31, 32 such as the synthetic resin liners are mounted on a stem shaft 2. The pressurized air is fed from an air pipe 39 and encapsulated in a gas pressure chamber 40, thereby the oil leaked into the gas pressure chamber 40 is returned again into the pressurized oil chamber 21 by means of the pressurized air in the gas pressure chamber 40. Since the gas pressure will continuously prevent the intrusion of the water from the outside, and functioning onto the shaft sealing device 38 and the impeller seal 4, the water will not intrude. In such a pump where the pneumatic pressure is functioned onto the impeller seal 4 and the shaft sealing device 38, the small amount of air leak can be allowed thereby the structure can be simplified. Consequently the impeller hab can be made thin while the interior of the impeller boss can be widened resulting in the facilitation of the assembling/disassembling and the reduction of the size. |
