PURPOSE:To improve a rate of fuel consumption, in a plasma ignition device of an internal combustion engine, by changing output voltage of a DC-DC converter in accordance with an operational condition of the internal combustion engine and adequately controlling supply energy at each ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:Transistors Q1 and Q2 connected to a primary coil L1 of a boosting transformer T1 are alternately on-off turned by pulse signals S1 and S1 of an oscillator circuit 7, and their negative feedback action alternately flows a constant currentIto directions HM, HN, then AC voltage VAC is generated in a seconary coil L2 and rectified to charge an ignition capacitor. This charged voltage Vo is divided by resistors R5 and R6 to Vd. On the other hand, a car speed Sv, throttle valve opening S , engine speed Sr and water temperature St are input to an information processor circuit F to decide an operational condition and output reference voltage VR, if the voltage becomes Vd=VR, output Vc of a comparator 6 becomes H to turn off the transistors Q1 and Q2, and high voltage is not generated in the coil L2 to stop a charge of the capacitor C1. Accordingly, charge energy is controlled in accordance with the operational condition. |
