PURPOSE:To obtain a normal color signal being suppressed unnecessary signal components, by controlling the periodic polarity inversion of a differential signal during two consecutive horizontal scanning periods determined with the chromatic arrangement of color mozaic filters. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of a subtraction circuit 13 is a differential signal in which R-B and M are reversed at each 2-clock period and an R-B signal reversed periodically is picked up at sample hold circuits 14 and 15 from this differential signal. The polarity of the R-B signal is inverted at an inversion circuit 16 and switching circuits 18 and 19 are controlled so that the R-B signal with positive polarity at all times can be obtained as the output of a subtraction circuit 22. Similarly, the M signal the polarity of which is always positive is picked up as an output of an addition circuit 23. An R signal being the sum of the R-B and the M is obtained from an addition circuit 24 and a B signal being a difference between the R-B and the M is obtained at a subtraction circuit 25. |
