<p>PURPOSE:To realize a stable tape running at the time of fast-forwarding by performing normal-reverse torque controls on the feeding reel motor in connection with the movement of the tension arm and also performing torque controls on the winding reel motor. CONSTITUTION:Tape tension detecting mechanisms 13 and 14 composed of potentiometers, etc., are fitted to tension arms 6 and 12, and their outputs are supplied to a feeding and a winding reel motors 3 and 4 through a switching circuit controlled by controll signals from a controlling circuit. At the time of fast- forwarding, the winding motor 4 is subjected to the normal torque control. When the tension arm reaches between C and D, the feeding reel motor 3 is normal- torque controlled and the winding reel motor 4 is controlled in such a way that the normal torque is gradually reduced. This mechanism is especially required when a large reel is used at the feeding side and a small reel is used at the winding side, and the tape is wound around the feeding side reel for the full extent and quick winding is performed.</p> |
