PURPOSE:To avoid useless operation for the user, by controlling the time of transmission of incoming signals so that a time difference can be given between telephone sets. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call comes from main trucks alpha<1>-alpha<m>, the incoming call is informed to a CPU1 through an I/O5 from a main trunk interface 7. The CPU1 transmits a control signal to the I/O5 to transmit the incoming signal to a telephone set of a specific extension according to data stored in a random access memory 3 and connects a tone generator 6 to a specific extension via a matrix switch 8. Further, the CPU1 operates a timer 4 simultaneously, and if the selected extension does not respond to the incoming call within a prescribed time, since the incoming signal is transmitted to an extension to be transmitted next, a control signal is transmitted to the I/O5. Similarly, the incoming signal is transmitted to the next extension from the tone generator 6. |
