PURPOSE:To prevent breaking of a fine line by applying a specific mat agent on the outermost layers of both surfaces of the titled material, respectively, in the titled material which mounts one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer on a transparent substrate body, and provides a layer contg. a dyestuff on an opposite side of said substrate. CONSTITUTION:In the titled material which provides the one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer on the transparent substrate body and the one layer contg. the dyestuff on the opposite side surface of said body, the layer contg. 0.1-10mg/m<2> mat agent of <=10mum mean particle size is applied on the outermost layers of the both sides of the titled material, respectively. The mat agent is produced by dispersing various shapes of silica, barium sulfate, calcium sulfate, zinc oxide, titanium oxide, diatomaceous earth, desensitized silver halide or an inorg. powder such as a finely powdered zinc carbonate into a natural or synthetic vehicle. The substrate body is exemplified by cellulose acetate, cellulose nitrate, polyester, polyolefin, polystyrene, a baryta paper, a glass and a metal, etc. Thus, the titled material which does not occur the cutting of the fine line, is obtd. |
