PURPOSE:To realize the miniaturization of a recording device and at the same time to increase the contrast of an image, by setting in parallel the counter electrodes with the 0.1-1.0mm. contiguous space and at the same time setting the resistance value of the using toner within a range of 10<11>OMEGA-cm-10<3>OMEGA-cm. CONSTITUTION:The electrode styluses 2 comprising plural groups are set in a row to form a multi-stylus electrode. A recording medium 3 is applied to a recording electrode 1. Then the magnetic toner is transferred among the medium 3 and the counter electrodes 7 of a developing device 6 consisting of a fixed cylindrical sleeve 4 and a magnetic roller 5 which turns within the sleeve 4. In such way, the recording is carried out. In this case, the relationship is prescribed between the contiguous space between the electrodes 7 and the resistance value of the magnetic toner. As a result, the contrast is increased for the image to be recorded. |
