PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase dynamic display effects, and to easily grasp the loudness of a volume by allowing the needle of an analog meter indicating the volume level of a speaker to swing largely. SOLUTION: In this acoustic device, a plurality of music sources 11-13 are selected by an analog switch 14, and the volume is adjusted by an electronic volume 15, and this signal is amplified by amplifiers 16 and 17, and outputted from a speaker 18. The voltage level of the signal to be inputted to the electronic volume 15 is converted into a higher voltage level by a level converting part 24, and an output from the level converting part 24 and an output from the electronic volume 15 are switched by a changeover switch 25, and displayed at an analog meter 26. Thus, the needle of the analog meter 26 can be fully moved to a scale even at the normal adjusted position of the electronic volume 15.
