PURPOSE:To realize the superposed transcription of plural sheets with high quality, by using a gripper means which holds and opens the tip of a transfer paper, a holding and transport means of the transfer paper and a cam means which has a surface along the shift path of the gripper means. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper P is fed to the opening of a gripper 101 by timing rolls 18-1 and 18-3 plus a feed roll 18-2, and the opening is closed at the position out of a cam 102. Thus the tip of the paper P is held. The developer on a photosensitive drum 14 is transferred onto the paper P while the paper P passes between a transfer corona 127 and the drum 14. In the case of the color transcription, the gripper 3 has three turns while holding the paper P. Then a separating pawl 24 and a gripper opening cam 104 function after the transcription of three colors. The paper P is released from the gripper and guided to a conveyor belt 25. |
