PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter capable of reducing the pressure loss in a flow channel changeover device to realize miniaturization. SOLUTION: The gas meter 1 measures the flow rate of gas to integrate the same and the flow channel changeover device 10 is provided to the gas meter 1. The flow channel changeover device 10 is equipped with a valve device 15 for opening and closing at least one flow channel 12 among a plurality of flow channels 12 and 14. The valve device 15 is equipped with the valve seat 16 provided on the side of the flow channel 12 and a rotary valve 20 relatively sliding with respect to the valve seat 16 to perform on-off action. The rotary valve 20 is opened and closed by the reciprocating motion within a predetermined angle range in the direction around the axis thereof.
