PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized information processing unit that provides a reproduction sound excellent in the sound quality of a low frequency sound. SOLUTION: The information processing unit is provided with a sound output device, an information processing section and a case body and the sound output device is provided with a sound output element and a box to which the sound output element is provided and the box is configured such that at least part of the box can be projected to/escaped from the case body.
