PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map retrieval device and map retrieval program capable of easily using map data. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an input means 30 for inputting image data including the position information of a photographing point; a retrieval means 40 for extracting map data including the information of the photographing point on the basis of the position information inputted by the input means; and an output control means 40 for outputting the map showing the photographing point to image output devices 10 and 20 on the basis of the map data extracted by the retrieval means. As the information for extracting the map data of a designation, the image data are used, and the extracted map data are outputted by the image output devices 10 and 20, whereby the map data can be easily used.
