PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily obtain the same using environment as in the past even if the combination of an equipment management device with electronic equipment changes. SOLUTION: When the ROM version acquired from a copying machine (#1) is differed from a stored one, connection of a new copying machine is judged (#3: Yes). In this case, the data terminal ID and center ID acquired from the copying machine (#1) are transmitted to a center, and it is confirmed in the center whether the user is the same as in the past or not (#4, #5). When the user is the same as in the past (#5: Yes), the set data stored in a data terminal is transmitted to the copying machine (#6). Accordingly, the using condition set for the old copying machine is reproduced in the new copying machine.
