PURPOSE:To enable the processing of a long character train without increasing an area for variables in a memory especially, by providing a character memory enabling the storage of the long character train in addition to a general variable data area. CONSTITUTION:In addition to a data memory 21 storing a general data variable, a long character train can be stored, and a character memory 22 in which the number of characters is stored at the head of the character storage area is provided, and A-Z, A0-Z9 and & can be used character variables, each is 7- character at maximum but as to the character variable &, up to 30 characters can be allocated and the variables are stored in the character memory 22. Thus, the processing for a long character train can be made without increasing the variable area especially. |
