PURPOSE:To obtain the titled foamed body whose surface thickness is uniform and whose skin is firmly bonded, by spraying charged thermoplastic resin particles onto a heated cavity surface, filling the cavity with foamable resin particles, and molding them under heating. CONSTITUTION:The mold 1 comprising a male mold A and a female mold B is arranged on the positive charge side, highly pressurized steam is introduced into the second chamber 3b of this mold 1 to preheat the cavity surface 2a, and then the negatively charged and skin forming thermoplastic resin particles having a particle size >=300mum are sparyed onto the cavity surface 2a to fuse. Then the mold 1 is opened, the inner part forming resin particles 4 that have been prefoamed to become a partly fused and softened state are loaded in the cavity 2, and after low pressurized steam is introduced through steam penetrating holes 3a of the first chamber 3 into the cavity 2 to fuse the resin particles 4, the mold 1 is closed, and is heated by highly pressurized steam to carry out the molding. |
