The set of structural parts comprises heat-insulating panels (1) of the same size and preferably profiled retaining strips (2, 2a, 2b) for securing the heat-insulating panels between the roof rafters (3). In addition, means for fastening the retaining strips on the roof rafters are provided. Heat-insulating panels and retaining strips consist of rigid foam plastic. In order to compensate for relatively large differences in the distances between the roof rafters, the retaining strip comprises, for example on one panel longitudinal side, two parts (2a, 2b), the abutting sides of which are designed in a wedge shape. When mounting, first of all a retaining strip (2) is fastened on the roof rafter (3), for example with clout nails (4), and the heat-insulating panel (1) is introduced. The wedge-shaped retaining-strip part (2a) is then fitted on the other panel edge, and the wedge-shaped supplementary part (2b) is pushed into the gap between said retaining-strip part and the roof rafter until all the parts rest firmly one on the other. An adhesive may be used in order to fix the divided retaining strip on the roof rafter and to fix the parts of said strip to one another. <IMAGE>
