PURPOSE:To enable uniform transferring irrespective of the ruggedness of inks, by providing heat-fusible ink layers of three primary colors on a base sheet in the order of J1, J3, J2 and J3 where the order of superimposition is J1, J2 and J3. CONSTITUTION:A heat-fusible yellow ink 14, a cyan ink 15 (for the first layer), a magenta ink 16 (for the first and second layers) and a cyan ink 15 (for the second and third layer), as a set, are applied to a film base 17. At the time of thermal fusion transfer with this ink ribbon, the yellow ink 14 to be transferred as the first layer is transferred onto a paper 18, and the cyan ink 15a for the first layer is transferred. Next, the magenta ink 16 for the first and second layers is transferred, and finally, the cyan ink 15b for the second and third layer is transferred. |
