PURPOSE:To simply switching the print format, through the switching of the print format based on a file name given to a program, by providing a file name detection section which detects the number of digits of the file name or the types of file name. CONSTITUTION:An inputted data from a key input section of an electronic computer is inputted to a control section 21 of a print control section and applied to a file name detection section 22 and a gate G. The detection section 22 detects a file code from printing information from a CPU, a gate control signal (a) is applied to the gate G and data are inputted to a mode switching section 23 via the gate G. The section 23 counts the number of digits of a file name and transmits a print mode signal (b) to the control section 21 storing various programs. The control section 21 switches a print format based on a signal 6 and applies a data to the print register of an RAM24 and supplies it to a printer via a print buffer 26 and a character generator 27. |
