PURPOSE:To transfer programs and data from an external storage device to an internal storage device of a computer, by operating an automatic load switch. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 11 is set in an external storage device 1, which is activated by applying the power supply for a program automatic loading device 2 and a computer 3. An automatic loading switch 25 turns on, allowing to zero an address counter 21 in the device 2 to be zeroed with a clear signal 38 from an automatic loading control circuit 26, to set a head address set information 27 inputted to the circuit 26 in advance and to load programs and data from an arbitrary address of an internal storage device of the computer 3. Thus, an information record 15 of the programs and data recorded in the recording medium 11 set to the external storage device 1 is sequentially transferred by taking an address designated to the internal storage device 31 as a head address. |
