PURPOSE:To prevent a titled band from oxidation phenomenon and rapid cooling caused by slackening of the outside part of it, by performing a bundling treatment of a coil uncoiled from a coiler while keeping its condition without causing the slackening of said part. CONSTITUTION:A coil 7a coiled by a coiler 1 is drawn out from a mandrel of the coiler 1 by a lift car 2 equipped with rolls 9, and is bundled by a bundling machine 5' while keeping the coil mounted on the car 2 in a down coil state. That is, a coiled band 11 is uncoiled from a band coil 5a and is passed through a band tensioner 5c and band guides 5g, 5h, 5g, and 5d so as to surround the coil 7a by means of a pinch rolls 5b. Next, the band 11 is tightly coiled on the outer circumference of the coil 7a by turning the tensioner 5c clockwise, and then the coil 7a is welded or is caulked with a buckle. The coil 7a placed on an upender after finishing the bundling, is put on a coil conveyor 8, and is conveyed through a coil transferring loader 4. |
