PURPOSE:To eliminate the formation of the swelling part of the flange of a work and to prevent the reverse bending by a structure where a working mold is moved in the same direction as the direction of bending of the flange of the work when auxiliary bending is performed. CONSTITUTION:When an upper mold 15 falls, a cam face 18 for auxiliary bending is first brought into contact with a sliding face 9a of a driving cam 9 for auxiliary bending, and a sliding cam 17 is driven by the cam 9 while compressing an elastic material 23 and falls along the face 9a. At this time, a die face 21 for auxiliary bending of a working die 20 is brought into contact with a flange 6a of a door outer panel 6, and the face 21 performs the auxiliary bending of the flange 6a according as the male die 15 falls. When the die 15 falls furthermore, a mold face 22 for main bending is brought into contact with the flange 6a to start the main bending. Next, the cam 9 is pressed by the face 18 to press an elastic material 13, and the cam face 19 slides on a sliding face 11a, and the face 22 is moved in the direction of the main bending of the flange 6a to perform the main bending. After the completion of the hemming work, the die 15 rises. |
