PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit of laser in which emission intensity is not varied even if the mark rate is varied. SOLUTION: The driving circuit of laser comprises an extra capacitor C disposed on the anode side of the photodiode PD and suppressing variation in the output current level of a photodiode PD. Since variation in the output current level of the photodiode PD due to variation of mark rate is suppressed by the capacitor C, emission intensity of a laser diode LD is also suppressed. Essential purpose of the driving circuit of laser (compensation of variation in the emission intensity due to temperature characteristics) is not damaged because the capacitor C has no effect on the relatively long term variation, e.g. drift due to temperature characteristics.
