PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of responding to a user's desire of most preferentially reducing a consumption energy in the refrigerator for executing both air conditioning and a cold storage. SOLUTION: The refrigerator (10) comprises a first indoor unit (12), a second indoor unit (13), a cold storage unit (14), and a cascade unit (15) connected to an outdoor unit (11). The first unit (12) switches to operate cooling and heating. The second unit (13) exclusively executes the cooling. The unit (14) cools the air in a cabinet of a showcase. The refrigerator (19) further comprises a controller (200) for controlling the volume of a compressor unit (40). In this case, the controller (200) sets the volume of the unit (40) to a smaller one of a target decided based on a low pressure of a high-temperature side refrigerant circuit (20) or a target decided based on a difference between an indoor temperature and the set temperature.
