PURPOSE:To eliminate errors in measurement resulting from damping by a method wherein a plurality of detecting voltage at the converter side is sampled at each excitation period, converted into digital value and held, and voltage induced at an electrode is obtained through arithmetical operation. CONSTITUTION:Currents are supplied to an excitation coil EC from an excitation circuit ETC controlled by the timing signals of a signal generating section TG while signals proportional to flow rate induced at the electrodes EDa, EDb are synchronized with timing signals by switches S1, S2 and sampled, converted into digital value by means of an A/D converter, and memorized to the memory RAM of an arithmetical operation section OPE. Voltage induced at the electrodes ED is obtained through arithmetical operation from a plurality of signals memorized. Accordingly, even when damping being accompanied by the length of a lead wire up to the converter side CONV from the detector side DET is generated, errors in measurement due to the damping can be eliminated, and accurate detecting signals can be acquired. |
