PURPOSE:To make it possible to extend the test time, by arranging a soaking chamber at the rear of a main test chamber so as to face a snowstorm generating device arranged in front of the main test chamber and at the down stream of the duct, and reducing the attachment of snow to an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:The snowstorm generating device 7 is provided at the down stream of the wind blowing duct 4. Air 72 and water 73 are supplied to said snowstorm generating device 7. A snow nozzle 71 which jets the snow, is provided in the device 7. Said snow nozzle 71 blows the snow to the automobile A in association with wind blowing of the wind blowing duct 4. In this case, a considerable amount of the blown snow is accumulated in the soaking chamber 2 which is arranged at the rear of the main test chamber because of the difference in mass between the snow and the air. Part of the snow suspended in the air is dropped by a snow dropping device 8 in the main test chamber. In this way, attachment of the snow to the air conditioner is reduced, and the test time can be extended. |
