PURPOSE:To obtain a linear motion using a motor as its power source in which a quiet operation can be expected, by threadably engaging a slidable rod with a rotatable sleeve which is fixed to a motor rotor and whose inner surface is threaded. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is applied to a motor stator 9 or the motor rotor 13, the sleeve 12 is rotated. This rotational movement of the sleeve 12 is converted through a screw 15 whose rotation is prevented due to the connection with a bracket B into a linear motion of a rod 7, so that the operation apparatus can be extended or contracted as a whole, and the distance between the bracket A and the bracket B can be varied. |
